Bergisel Ski Jump & Tirol-Panorama [25 minutes]
"Climb" the Bergisel-Ski Jump in Innsbruck. It was designed by renowned architect Zaha Hadid and won the Austrian State Prize for Architecture in 2002. Every year in January, the Bergisel is one of the venues of the Vierschanzen Tournee (Four Hills Tournament) and attracts thousands of enthusiastic fans. The Panorama-Café is a very special place for connoisseurs with stunning views of Innsbruck.
The Bergisel, a place steeped in Tyrolean history, is home to the Tirol Panorama. This museum is also an architectural highlight, which takes you on an exciting journey through significant stages of Tyrolean history. The Riesenrundgemälde (Cyclorama) presents the Tyrolean Fight for Freedom in a panoramic painting, giving viewers a 360 degree view of this historic event painted over a surface area of 1,000 square metres!
